Moon River, a song composed in the early 1960s, brings back memories of old romantic movies. In the same way, this artwork creates the setting for a romantic stroll along the river. Double happiness fish spring out of the moonlit water, and glowing Chinese lanterns sway in the night breeze. These symbolic Chinese elements link back to the cultural heritage of the Singapore Shophouse. Shophouse buildings can be found all over the island.

The photograph used in this artwork of a row of well-preserved Peranakan Shophouses was taken at Koon Seng Road, Joo Chiat, Singapore.

The default frame for this print is: Champagne Silver with a White backing.

Our Canvas Prints have been coated for scratch, stain and water resistance. Due to numerous reports of framed prints hung using adhesive-backed hooks/strips falling off the wall, we strongly suggest using more secure hanging methods (eg:nails) or opting for unframed prints.
